Third Grade Is Great
Welcome to the third grade website from BBIS! We hope you will check back in regularly. If you have ideas for information you would like to see included, please let us know. Our goal is for this website to be an integral part of our teaching and learning, so it needs to work well for all of us.
About Matthew Stinziani
I am entering my first year as a Third Grade teacher at BBIS but my sixth year here overall after working, in reverse chronological order, in Milan, Dar es Salaam, Berlin, Addis Ababa, Khartoum, London, and Canberra. A native of Australia with a pint or two of Italian blood mixed in, I am married with two young daughters, one of whom is a first grader here at BBIS. I love reading picture books to my girls at home, try to get out running in the local area as much (or as little, depending on my state of mind and whether there is a running event approaching) as possible and live in a continuous state of forlorn hope that my favourite football team in Australia might actually win a few matches.
About Kerrigan James
I was born in Trinidad & Tobago, but grew up in Canada. After graduating from Teachers' College, I began my career teaching Kindergarten in the Dominican Republic. Since then, I have worked in Nicaragua, India, Tanzania and have been residing in Berlin since 2005, except when I took three years paternity leave for our first child. My second was born last June. I love sports, interesting books and family time.
